The Woods Pyramid Game requires
players to think and use strategy on
opponents while playing. It requires
a player to plan his or her next
move, and not be left with a losing
combination of game pieces. The last
player to remove a game piece loses.
The game may be played by
persons aged 6 and up.
James A. Woods was first
inspired to invent the "Woods
Pyramid Game" as a result of
wanting a new type of game. When
he was in the Army, he marveled
at the structure of the pyramids
and the legends behind them. It
occurred to him that the
pyramids concept could be
utilized to create a fun
strategy board game. Intrigued
by this idea, he began designing
The "Woods Pyramid Game"He then
tested the game during his
active duty in Kuwait, where Mr.
Woods asked the Corps of
Engineers, who build facilities
for the military to make a
wooden board to play the concept
of his game.
